HOUSEKEEPING 📨

Good afternoon, good evening, good night to all your reading this out there across the globe. Today, for what I think may be the first time ever, we no post. Sad face emoji. More on that in a moment. The good news is, I have three interesting offers to present to you today. Two that I am legitimately pumped about, and one that’s a nice little bonus.

Firstly, I want to address taking the week off. Truth is, I am actually mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted. It’s been a long year, and although I had some posts in mind, I decided to shelve them for now. Or more specifically, take the time they require to write them well.

Why do I say that?—well, if you remember back to a couple of weeks ago, I wrote a piece that I had wanted to write for so very long, which was the story of Nintendo. For a piece I’d dreamed of writing for a very long time, I did not enjoy it. I wrote it to ‘get it out the door’ and I feel like you the reader could feel that.

It was a nice piece, but there was nothing particularly grand about it. And I feel like my inbox was the quietest it’s been after shipping a post. I was so rushed, I didn’t even remember to include this Mario version of Ziggy and I my content assistant, Bia, made for me.

It’s a me (as) Mario.

So I say that all to say, I’m taking the weekend off. The good news is, I have the aforementioned opportunities to share with you. One is a writing opportunity, one is investing, and one if hiring. Without further ado, here they are.

Opportunity #1 - Growth stage syndicate

What it is: I’m getting closer and closer to the moving forward with a growth stage investment syndicate. I have a partnership in the works with a platform where we could secure secondary stock in some of the world’s leading private tech companies. Below, you can see an example of some of the names I am talking about: SpaceX, Anduril, Anthropic and OpenAI among others.

Source; Augment.

Who it’s for: This syndicate will be for busy founders, who are interested in investing into some of the companies they love that are in the growth / pre-IPO stage of their growth. I am particularly interested in this cohort as I—as a busy founder myself—don’t have time or mental energy to invest in early-stage startups. I want to invest in exciting companies that I understand, that have proven they can win, or partly win, their market.

Who it’s not for: This is for accredited investors only, so by definition, unavailable for those who are not accredited. Caveat: if you have a startup that’s worth something, it’s pretty simple to get accredited.

How to apply: To join the waitlist click below. Also, if you are super uninterested it may be worth clicking that to let me know so I can segment you out of any future updates.

Opportunity #2 - Content partners

What it is: We're pumped to announce we’ll be selecting 3-4 content partners for 2025. Each partner gets 4 dedicated features reaching our highly-engaged audience of 60k+ CEOs and founders. This invitation-only program helps establish industry thought leadership while accessing our premium audience typically reserved for paid partnerships.

Who it’s for: This is best suited to in-house people who are open to breaking down how their company, their industry, and/or their strategies and tactics work. Think founders, strategists, content marketers who are looking for exposure. Our audience is 63k today but will be 150k+ by the end of next year.

Who it’s not for: This is not a fit for writers who want to hone their craft writing about tech.

We are looking for people who have deep, current, boots on the ground experience inside of a startup or scaleup today and both them and their company are happy to share their insights with our audience.

How to apply: If this sounds like something you or your company would be interested in fill in this form and we’ll get back to you in the next 7 days. We plan to chose our content partners before December 31st to begin planning for Q1 of 2025.

Opportunity #3 - Global hiring partnership

What it is: We are creating a Cyber Monday style, once in a blue moon deal for what we are deeming our global hiring partners. The deal is $10,000 in hiring credits with my startup, Athyna, for a select number of companies in 2025.

Who it’s for: This offer is for a startup, or enterprise that is growing fast, hiring and looking to expand into Latam, Southeast Asia, Africa in order to gain access to better talent at a lower cost. The program is build as somewhat of a ‘free hit’ for our partners in 2025.

Who it’s not for: This is not for companies that are expecting to hire less than 5-10 remote team members in 2025. Only for companies that are looking to grow ambitiously and eager to explore offshore.

How to apply: To apply click the poll below and someone in the Athyna will reach out to get in touch about your hiring needs for 2025.
