INTRODUCTION 🤷‍♂️

Exciting news team! Today, we're unveiling our 100+ Greatest Business Books Database.

Dive into a curated list of business books recommended by your favourite entrepreneurs like Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Arianna Huffington and more. This isn't just a list - it’s the keys to unlocking wisdom you otherwise would not have had. Along with a checklist to help you work your way though the books over time!

Set aside time each week for these transformative reads. With every book, you're not just reading - you're preparing to outperform the competition.

RESOURCE OF THE WEEK 🧰

All entrepreneurs come from different backgrounds. Some come from privileged backgrounds, some do not. Some studied at the best schools and universities, while others did not.

What is one way for someone to claw back the lead that society ultimately gave one person over another. Simple: READ.

Downloading this tool is an offer you cannot refuse.

But don’t just take it from me. The best entrepreneurs in the world all have one thing in common: they have a ferocious appetite for learning.

In my whole life, I have known no wise people — over a broad subject matter area — who didn’t read all the time. None. Zero. You’d be amazed at how much Warren reads and how much I read. My children laugh at me. They think I’m a book with a couple of legs sticking out.

- Charle Munger

Books were my pass to personal freedom. I learned to read at age three, and soon discovered there was a whole world to conquer that went beyond our farm in Mississippi.

- Oprah Winfrey

Books are a uniquely portable magic.

- Steven King

Something interesting is that a number of the top ranked books from our greatest book list are not business books at all. The top 15 on our list includes Sapiens, Man’s Search For Meaning & Meditations by Marcus Aurelius.

You can learn a lot from studying philosophy, culture and the human being.

Shit, the greatest leadership lessons I have learnt come from Game of Thrones (see Torrhen Stark - the King Who Knelt).

But know one thing, when it comes to reading in general. If you aren’t up-skilling yourself, bringing in new ideas to the table and crafting a lifelong addiction to learning … your competitors are.

And overtime, they will outcompete you.

So, back to our gift to you today. Most of this list was actually curated from one of my favourite websites in the world - GoodBooks.

I’ve trimmed and played around with their list - but most credit goes to them.

The best thing though is now the list is in a trackable database. Personally, I have ticked off 37 of the books on the list. I’d love to hear where you are at with the list how many you have read. Can you beat me?

Anyway, I write this piece from a cabin in the Patagonian wilderness today, and the power has gone out. So, I’m going hiking.

Enjoy the tool. I hope it helps sharpen your mind - let’s get reading!

And that's it! You can find the database here and if you liked this love our Ultimate Investor Letter Database too. We hope you enjoy them!

TWEETS OF THE WEEK 🐣

Beautifully succinct story telling by the best brands.

And back to famous authors, here is Hunter S. Thompson’s writing routine.

BRAIN FOOD 🧠

The All-In Summit went down recently and the great Benchmark General Partner, Bill Gurley, shot the lights out with his 2,851 Miles presentation.

Storytelling, experience and wisdom all rolled into a big shot at the US government. Amazing.
